U.S. Forest Service trail crews participated in early-season work across the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Hikers may encounter some down trees and washouts this spring after the atmospheric river events occurred over the winter.

On the Lakeshore Trail above Lake Chelan, crews are making progress in some of the hardest hit areas where the trail was completely washed out. Downed trees are being cleared, major damage is being assessed for future repair. Chelan-Entiat District Ranger Holly Krake reports the ferry bump-up to Stehekin is running strong.

More info on Lakeshore Trail impacts and route options can be explored here.

Forest Service crews on the Cle Elum Ranger District cleared more than 40 downed trees from the short Swauk Discovery Trail at Blewett Pass.

Tried Drive Mad after seeing it mentioned in a forum, and it definitely lives up to the hype. It’s one of those games where you fail a lot, but you instantly want to try again.
