Fire fuels are dry, Chelan Fire and Rescue cautions

Firefighters responded to a grass and brush fire Thursday afternoon off Isenhart Road east of Chelan. Washington State Fire Wire reported the fire blackened an estimated two acres. No word on a potential cause for the fire.
Chelan Fire and Rescue said it was a reminder that fire fuels are starting to dry out. Chelan firefighters cautioned to use care with any open flame and always assure your fire is out!
