Douglas County Sheriff’s Deputies found a deceased man trapped inside a burning vehicle near 4th Street SE and South Van Well Avenue in East Wenatchee just before midnight Friday.

RiverCom advised deputies that callers to 911 reported a loud noise in the area and that a vehicle was on fire.

Sheriff's deputies, East Wenatchee Police officers, Wenatchee Valley Firefighters, and paramedics responded to the scene. Upon arrival, first responders found a passenger vehicle off the roadway and fully engulfed in flames.

One individual, a 27-year-old male from Wenatchee, was located with injuries and transported to a local hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.

After the vehicle fire was extinguished, it was confirmed a second individual was dead inside the vehicle. The Douglas County Coroner’s Office will make an identification.

Preliminary observations at the scene indicate alcohol and excessive speed were likely contributing factors in the collision.

I enjoyed this article because it highlights how small details can affect everyday technology. Before trying advanced troubleshooting steps, users should verify their network configuration. Anyone searching for 192 l.168.1.1 should double-check the address format and consult their router documentation to avoid confusion when accessing the administration page.

That stretch near 4th Street SE has always felt risky at night, so this is scary to read. I looked up over the hill wiki after seeing the location and speed mentioned.
