Wind whipped up local wild land fires.


The Labor Mountain Fire, burning on both sides of highway 97 has blown up.

A 'Get Out Now' evacuation advisory was issued last night for Blewett Pass, Valley Hi and Ingalls Creek residents, all of Nahahum Canyon Road and Camas Meadow.

On the Chelan-Kittitas county line a get out now order includes Mineral springs and the Cougar Gulch community.


On the Sugarloaf fire 'Get Out Now' evacuation advisory have been issued for the upper portion of Burch Mountain Road in Wenatchee. A 'Get Ready' advisory has been issued in upper Sunnyslope.


Livestock is being taken to the Chelan county Fairgrounds. The Red Cross has opened a shelter at the Christ center Church in Cashmere, and at the Entiat Community Church.

Appreciate the update. It’s heartbreaking to see communities evacuating, but it’s good to know shelters and resources are available. Fires spread unpredictably, kind of like sudden jumps in Geometry Dash Lite—you never know what’s coming next. Sending strength to everyone affected.
