Suspect arrested in alleged gunshot assault in Manson

A report of an assault with a gun brought Chelan County Sheriff’s deputies to a Manson residence on Summer Breeze Road on Sunday.

Chelan County Undersheriff Dan Ozment reported Wednesday that an alleged victim reported that a person unknown to him pulled up at the home of a friend and pointed the gun at him.

As the man who reported the incident left the area, the suspect followed him in his vehicle and reportedly fired at least one gunshot as he was driving away.

Sheriff’s deputies located the suspect vehicle a short time later, and took three subjects into custody.

Anthony Navarrete was identified as the primary suspect and driver. He was arrested for assault.

Deputies also recovered a firearm during the investigation, and impounded the vehicle.
