Manson Library reopens after renovation

The Manson Public Library reopens Tuesday. The library is the latest of the NCW Libraries to be renovated as part of the $10 million, system wide Reimagining Spaces project.
The library’s refresh was guided by feedback from library patrons. The design incorporates a “Harvest” theme and includes two study pods, an updated children’s area, an enhanced ADA entryway and updated electrical throughout the building.
It’s a $208,000 upgrade. Paid for by Grants from the Community Foundation of North Central Washington, Confluence Health and the Wenatchee Valley Medical Group that were matched by the Manson Community Library Board, who also contributed an additional $13,000.
Librarian Vivian Edwards said the refresh shows how powerful partnerships can be in creating spaces that truly reflect and serve the community.
The library plans to host a grand reopening celebration in October.
