Chelan Post Office opens in new Woodin Ave. location

The Chelan Post Office has opened in a new location.

The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) reported late Friday that all pick-up services, including access to post office box mail and packages are now available at 215 East Woodin Ave. in Chelan, the former location of Spirals, next door to the Lake Chelan Eagles Lodge and across the street from the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce.

The new post office location is open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

The post office lobby and post office boxes at the East Johnson Ave. in Chelan location were temporarily closed to the public in March 2025 due to safety concerns during a roof repair project.

Postal Service spokeswoman Janella Herron says street mail delivery will continue to be handled out of the Brewster Post Office.
