Lake Chelan Health Emergency Medical Services, in partnership with
Chelan Fire & Rescue and Manson Fire Department, will conduct a Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) training exercise from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 29..
The exercise will take place at Sargent Field and will simulate a large-scale
emergency involving multiple patients.
Community members in the area may notice increased emergency response activity, including vehicles, personnel, and ambulance traffic to and from Lake Chelan Health Hospital. This is only a training exercise—there is no real emergency.
Students from Chelan High School MedClub and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) students from Wenatchee Valley Technical Skills Center will participate as mock patients, helping responders practice. coordinated on-scene care and hospital operations.
This exercise is part of ongoing efforts to ensure our local emergency teams are
prepared to respond effectively in the event of a real mass casualty incident.
A Manson Middle School 5th Grade Class will participate in a Lake Chelan Health Hospital Emergency Medical Services medical incident and CPR program Wednesday, May 13.
