Chelan Clerk to lead state clerk organization; assistant clerk honored

Chelan City Clerk Peri Gallucci is the new President of the Washington Municipal Clerk Association. She was sworn in at the group’s annual conference in Kennewick

“This was truly one of the best moments of my life,” said Gallucci.

Cailey Couch, assistant city clerk, was honored with the Association’s Trail Blazers Award for her outstanding contributions to the City of Chelan and the clerk organization.

"Peri is one of the most experienced and qualified City Clerks in the State of Washington and we are proud of her sixteen years of service at the City and her new leadership role in WMCA,” said Chelan City Administrator Laura McAloon. “Peri's strong management skills are evident in her training and mentoring of Cailey as Deputy Clerk.  Cailey has excelled in her role and it is wonderful to see her being recognized by her peers too - they are Chelan's own dynamic duo!"
