Chelan Administrator finalists to be hosted at community social

The City of Chelan is pleased to announce the three finalists for the City Administrator position. After an extensive search and evaluation process, Laura McAloon, Chad Coltman and Roxanne Miles have been selected to meet with the public and be interviewed by city staff.
The community is invited to meet the finalist during the City Administrator Recruitment Social from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at The Vogue Coffee Shop, 117 E Woodin Avenue, in Chelan on Tuesday, November 4.
At this event, community members can engage with the finalists, ask questions and provide input. Attendees can share comments anonymously on cards that will be collected and reviewed by the Mayor prior to the finalist interviews on Wednesday, November 5.
City Administrator Finalists:

Laura McAloon most recently served as the City Administrator for the City of Grand Island, Nebraska. She began serving as a Municipal Law Attorney in 2000 before founding her own firm, McAloon Law PLLC. She served as the City Attorney for Pullman and contracted General Counsel to Spokane Transit Authority for over 18 years, along with city attorney services for the cities of Medical Lake and Newport in Washington. She has since served with the City of Grand Island Nebraska as City Attorney and City Administrator. She holds a Juris Doctorate and a Bachelors in Business Administration and Paralegal Studies.

Chad Coltman is currently Director of HR & Communications with the City of Chelan. He began in public service in 2013, as the Director of Career Development for Serving People in Need, and has since worked for Rockharbor as Director of Operations & Communications, as well as COO of a Digital Marketing Agency (454 Creative). He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Vanguard University.

Roxanne Miles began her public service career with Pierce County in 1999, and has since been the Business & Strategic Advancement Manager with Parks Tacoma, the Business & Financial Operations Manager for Public Works with Pierce County, and the Director of Parks & Recreation with Pierce County. She served as the Director for eight years. She obtained her MBA from Corban University and holds a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology.
