The 2025 Stemilt Growers Grand Parade, the crown jewel of the Washington State Apple Blossom Festival, delighted thousands of spectators this past weekend with an extraordinary display of pageantry, creativity, and community spirit. The Festival on Saturday announced the best of all parade categories, from floats and equestrian groups to marching bands and specialty units.

 

FLOATS

Grand Sweepstakes Award: Presented to the most outstanding float in the entire parade, regardless of division. Manson Apple Blossom, "Legends of the Lake"

 

Community Sweepstakes Award: Outstanding float in the Community Division. Miss Sunnyside Court, "To Sunnyside and Beyond with Miss Sunnyside Court!"

 

Spirit of the Festival Award: Honoring exceptional volunteer-made or community-built floats. Deer Park Community Float, "Dancin' Thru the Decades with Deer Park"

 

Stemilt Sponsor’s Choice Award: Selected as the favorite float by our presenting sponsor. Washington State Fair Event Center, "Celebrating 125 years of Extraordinary Moments!”

 

Royalty Choice Award: Chosen by the Apple Blossom Festival Royalty. Capital Lakefair, "A Roaring Good Time!"

The Manson Apple Blossom Festival is May 9-10. The pageantry begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 9 with the coronation of Queen Genesis Torres and Princesses Brynn Williams and Isabella Alexander at the Manson High School gym.


The annual Manson Apple Blossom Parade rolls down Main Street beginning at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 10.


The Manson Apple Blossom Pancake Breakfast is 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., May 10, at the Manson Grange. The Fun Run starts at 8: 30 a.m. along Main Street. Enjoy local talent at the Manson Student Art Show at Radiance Winery, and don’t miss the colorful Undercover Quilt Show at the Grange.


The all-day Street Fair & Food Fair, a 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament at 1:00 p.m., and the splashy Petal Plunge at Manson Bay Park at 3:00 p.m. Wrap up the evening with a spirited Community Coed Soccer & Softball Game at 5:00 p.m. at Singleton Park.
