Manson, Cascade and Wenatchee Schools retain voter support for educational programs and facilities

The Manson School District Education and Operations Levy was approved by 65% of voters, 537-284, during a special school election on Tuesday. A companion Facilities, Technology and Security Levy was also approved with 66% support of voters, 544-284.


These are not new taxes, but the renewal of existing property tax levies.


Proposition 1 to finance educational programs and operational expenses:

2026 - $1.14/$1,000 assessed property value to bring in an estimated $2.2 million.

2027 - $1.13/$1,000 assessed property value to bring in an estimated $2.25 million.

2028 - $1.12/$1,000 assessed property value to bring in an estimated $2.3 million.


Proposition 2 to finance improvements to school facilities:

2026 – 55₵/$1,000 assessed property value to bring in an estimated $1.03 million.

2027 - 55₵/$1,000 assessed property value to bring in an estimated $1.03 million.

2028 - 55₵/$1,000 assessed property value to bring in an estimated $1.03 million.



The Wenatchee School District's Educational Programs and Operations levy has passed with 60% approval. Two-thirds of levy funding is directed to basic education and special education, with the majority of those funds allocated to staffing.


The Cascade School District, Prop 1 for educational programs and operations passed with 66% approval. Prop 2 for modernization and remodeling of school facilities was approved with 64% support.


In Grant County, both Ephrata and Moses Lake School Districts won voter approval of their Educational and Operations levies.
