Chelan County Sheriff's deputies, officers from multiple law enforcement agencies, along with search and rescue organizations have scaled back their search for the Wenatchee man believed to have murdered his three young daughters two months ago.

Chelan County Undersheriff Dan Ozment reported Friday that information and leads received have been followed up on in several different areas with the focus remaining on the Blewett Pass and Enhancements area between Chelan and Kittitas Counties.

"Search efforts have included swift water teams, multiple K9 teams, air assets, and personnel on foot, and Travis Decker, 32, has still not been located," the Undersheriff said. "There is insufficient information to suggest that he is alive, nor deceased."

The most recent search area has led investigative teams to the Blewett Pass area, north of the Mineral Springs campground. The potential evidence and intelligence gathered in the area are inconclusive.

Bear hunting season opens in August, and others continue their outdoor activities, strongly encourage citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities, persons, or items they may come across by reporting it to 911.

"Chelan County Sheriff's detectives remain actively engaged in processing evidence and will continue to follow up on leads or tips as they come in," said Ozment.

The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading directly to Decker’s arrest.
