Chelan and Douglas counties want citizen input on how best to address homelessness

The Chelan-Douglas Homeless Housing Task Force would like you to participate in a short, online public survey to better gage the community’s thoughts on homelessness in the two counties.

The survey takes 3 to 5 minutes to complete and is available in both English and Spanish.

The survey is anonymous but does ask some demographic questions, such as age and what community you live in.

The poll asks questions such as:

•         How concerned are you about homelessness in your area?

•         What do you believe are the three top causes of homelessness in our area?

•         Where do you get your information about homelessness in our area from?

Responses will be used to better inform the task force as it updates its five-year strategic plan on reducing homelessness in the two counties. The plan will be available in spring 2025.

The 2024 Chelan County homeless housing "point in time" population count was conducted earlier this year.
