You're invited to a candle light memorial at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at the site of a memorial on the south shore, remembering the lives lost in a tragic bus accident 79 years ago today. It was November 26, 1945 when 15 children and their school bus driver lost their lives.


Sue Clouse posted on Facebook, "This accident forever changed our valley. We will meet at 5:00 p.m. to light and leave candles, say a silent prayer, and to let those souls know that they are not forgotten."
