Central Washington Disability Resources (CWDR) is proud to announce its first-ever Empowerment Gala, taking place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Ellensburg, Washington. This milestone event celebrates 45 years of service supporting individuals with disabilities across Kittitas, Yakima, Grant, Chelan, and Douglas Counties.
The CWDR Empowerment Gala will bring together community leaders, advocates, and supporters for an inspiring evening honoring CWDR’s legacy of inclusion, equity, and empowerment. Guests will enjoy powerful stories, community recognition, and the presentation of Empowerment Awards recognizing individuals, businesses, and partners who are making a meaningful impact for people with disabilities.
“This is more than a celebration—it’s a recognition of the partnerships and progress that have strengthened our communities for nearly half a century,” said Mayra Colazo, Executive Director of CWDR. “We invite our community to join us as we celebrate those who are removing barriers and expanding access across Central Washington.”
