[3/15/22] Three Rivers Hospital Echocardiograms

Posted in Health

There’s a new service at Three Rivers Hospital in Brewster, and a new person to deliver it. Melanie Cullen is a specialized cardiac stenographer. She reads echocardiograms. What is an echocardiogram? Three Rivers Spokesperson Jennifer Best:

Generally one needs a referral from a primary care provider to get an echocardiogram, if you don’t have one, you can go to the Three Rivers Clinic next door to the hospital and they can check you out.

Three Rivers is also providing COVID tests still, but Best says there have been changes:

Best says if you need a pass to travel, to attend an event or return to work or school, you can go to the hospital’s main entrance Monday thru Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. You don’t need an appointment.
