The proposed Confluence Parkway in Wenatchee, which would add a second vehicle bridge over the Wenatchee River, not only brings changes to the traffic situation in North Wenatchee, but it also brings substantial changes to the recreation opportunities in that area, specifically to Confluence State Park, the Apple Capital Loop Trail and its pedestrian bridge, as well as the Horan Natural Area. The PUD is asking for your input on the proposed changes, and have an online survey they would like you to take at their website, chelanpud.org/confluence. There are also self-guided trail walks Monday March 30 at 9:30 am and 3 pm; and a drop in session with PUD commission members and City of Wenatchee staff at the Confluence Technology Center next Monday from 11 am to 1 pm and 4:30 to 6:30 pm.
