WHAT'S NEXT FOR HOUSING TRUST

Wednesday, the Chelan Valley Housing Trust cut the ribbon on two newly built houses on Iowa Street behind the high school. But they are now working on another project in town; Housing Trust Executive Director Scott Meyers explains:

There's also the Anderson Road project, also known as Chelan River Heights, that's been on the drawing board for several years. Consisting of nine acres to be developed into 45 mixed income homes. Meyers says they've had to rethink the opening phase of the project:

The homes at Emerson Harbour, as well as the Iowa Street homes, are geared toward local wage earners making 120 percent or less of the area median income. The housing trust is always looking for donations, to find out more, go to chelanvalleyhousing-dot-org.
