WASHINGTON APPLE COMMISSION PROMOTES HUBER

Lindsey Huber has been promoted to International Marketing Manager by the Washington Apple Commission, where she will oversee promotional marketing activities for over 25 countries on behalf of the 1,260 apple growers in Washington state.

Huber is taking over from Rebecca Lyons, who announced her retirement in March. Since joining the commission in 2015 as International Marketing Specialist, Huber has worked on the development of international promotions, strategic planning, and yearly federal grant application processes to help fund Washington apple international activities.

Jennie Strong, Communications and Outreach Specialist, will take on the International Marketing Specialist role, having joined the Washington Apple Commission in July 2022. With a culinary background and a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Purdue University, Strong brings a unique perspective to the team.

Huber commented, "I’ve learned so much in my time at the Washington Apple Commission, and I look forward to continuing to grow with the organization. I’m thrilled to step into the role of International Marketing Manager and am so excited to see what the future holds." Huber has over 20 years of experience in the produce industry, including in sales, marketing, purchasing, grower relations, and quality control.
