UPLAKE RESCUES

Social media blew up over the weekend with word of two rescues on Lake Chelan; but, not surprisingly, social media got some of the details wrong. Let's straighten them out for you now, with the help of Chelan County Sheriff's Sergeant Rob Huddleston. First off was a search and rescue uplake Saturday night:



Then came another rescue on the lake Sunday night, when the lake wasn't so calm:



There were some medical issues reported, including motion sickness, so EMS went along for the ride, but Huddleston said everyone on board the boat was prepared:



Also on board for both calls was a crew from Manson Fire.
