Three Rivers Hospital in Brewster is asking voters in its district to approve a bond issue next month to build a new hospital. Three Rivers' Chief Medical Officer Dr. Ty Witt says the current facility, which has been in operation for 75 years, isn't going to last much longer . . .
Witt says they're asking for approval of a 72-million dollar bond issue:
Witt says Three Rivers Hospital shares much of the same story as the new hospital here in Chelan:
Information on the bond issue is being mailed to district voters this week, to coincide with the voting period coming up. Hospital officials will be making presentations at the Twisp Chamber of Commerce meeting Thursday morning at 8:45 am, followed by the Bridgeport Chamber Thursday evening at 6.
