THREE RIVERS AND VIRUSES

Fall is pretty much here, although it officially starts here late Friday night. It's the time of year when a lot of viruses start appearing, and the folks at Three Rivers Hospital in Brewster are starting to get ready. The state health department held a briefing last week on how things are shaping up for fall; Three Rivers Spokesperson Jennifer Best explains:



And as for who should be getting immunized:



Best reminds you that personal hygiene is important, so remember to wash your hands with soap and water before you eat, after using the bathroom and whenever you're dirty, and use hand sanitizer when you can't wash your hands or if you can't see dirt. And as far as wearing a mask goes:



And COVID isn't the only virus around this fall:
