Chelan County Sheriff Mike Morrison says he's disappointed with the latest batch of crime statistics released last week by the state association of sheriffs and police chiefs, which showed a 96 percent rise in murders across the state since 2019, and an almost nine percent rise in violent crime over 2021. However, he says Chelan County is trying to do more by offering resources like rehabilitation and support to get help to those suffering from drug addiction.
