SCHOOL DISTRICT PLANNING AHEAD

It's hard to believe, but the school year is just about half over, with 90 of the 180 days in the school year already in the books. Lake Chelan School Superintendent Brad Wilson says spring moves fast, and the district is already looking ahead:





We've reported that the district is receiving a 23-thousand dollar grant from the State Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction to complete a study and survey of all its facilities:





Wilson notes that the district works hard to care for its facilities, but realizes they are aging, as each of the main school buildings are more than 30 years old.
