SAUNDERS STREET PROJECT GETS GRANT

At Tuesday's Chelan City Council meeting, Mayor Bob Goedde called Tuesday a “good day.” He was referring to the award of a 700-thousand dollar federal grant through the Chelan Douglas Transportation Council for sidewalk improvements on Sanders Street near Woodin. This project would include a bulb out and crosswalks at the intersection of Sanders with Trow Avenue, Okanogan Avenue and Wapato Street. City Public Works Director Jake Youngren:



Youngren says the city is working hard to get grants to get some important projects finished:
