ROUNDABOUT REPAIRS - WHO'S RESPONSIBLE?

We've been getting a lot of calls here at KOZI, Jeff has been stopped on the sidewalk by people, and everyone's wanted to know when the roundabout at No-See-Um Road will be repaired. It's been about a year and a half since someone ran off the road, hit a fence and a light pole, which housed the equipment that ran the fountain in the middle of the roundabout. Someone put a couple of orange cones there, but it just looks bad. So when will it get fixed? We've been asking that question of city officials and the State Department of Transportation, whom you would think, since it is on State Route 150, that it is their responsibility. But Wednesday, during KOZI's “2nd Cup of Coffee,” Chelan City Administrator Wade Farris called in:




So that answers that question.
