Chelan County PUD General Manager Kirk Hudson says 2022 was a good year for the PUD, and he says there are several things that will keep them busy and improve service in 2023:
As for the new automated meters, Hudson says it's not something that's required, homeowners can opt out of having it if they wish, but it will give the PUD some assistance in case the power goes out:
Hudson says there were a number of outages in the Leavenworth and Lake Wenatchee areas last week with the crazy weather, but he was grateful for the hard work of the crews and the patience of customers in the area.
