POINT IN TIME COUNT THURSDAY

Thursday is the annual count of those who are homeless in Chelan County, called the “Point in Time Count.” It's centered in Wenatchee, but there is a count happening in Chelan as well. It's being done by Chelan Valley Hope, here is Jess Keeler:

Chelan Valley Hope is hosting a resource fair for people who are unsheltered; it's tomorrow from 10 am to 2 pm.

Last year, Chelan Valley Hope counted around a hundred homeless folk in the area; Keeler says the number is smaller in the winter because people have to find shelter in the colder months, so they're either at a shelter in Wenatchee, or they've found a friend's place they can stay at.

That resource fair, again, is tomorrow from 10 am to 2 om at Chelan Valley Hope at 417 South Bradley Street.
