NEWS FROM CHELAN FIRE & RESCUE

We told you earlier this week of a body found at the Chelan Dam, and that Chelan Fire and Rescue was called to assist in the recovery. Chief Brandon Asher said they set up operations Monday afternoon behind the Chelan Senior Center, and that was familiar territory for them:





Asher said while there's nothing good about a body recovery, it did give the crew an opportunity to train and practice those skills.


Chelan 7 Fire Commissioners held a meeting Wednesday afternoon; Commissioner Phil Moller says they were told that they're fully staffed:





Also, Chelan Fire and Rescue had its annual audit performed, and Moller says they came through it very well:





Finally, call volumes: Asher says it's been a pretty busy February:
