Leavenworth Adventure Park, Washington State's first alpine coaster, is preparing for its upcoming opening. The park has officially announced June 1st as the grand opening date and will not charge an admission fee, allowing visitors to pay solely for the attractions. To ensure a seamless experience, advanced reservations are highly recommended.
Located a short walk away from Leavenworth's downtown area, at the entrance to Tumwater Canyon, the park's alpine coaster sits on a breathtaking mountain backdrop. Riders on toboggans have the freedom to personalize their experience, with a braking system ensuring optimal speed control. Sutherland noted, "It maxes out at 25 miles an hour. So, it's not crazy fast but fast enough to be fun," highlighting the added safety feature of a radar system that prevents riders from getting too close to the preceding car.
The park also boasts other attractions such as the Alpine Ascent Climbing Wall, the Bavarian Bungee Bounce Trampoline, and the Gems of The Enchantments Mining Sluice, providing ample entertainment for visitors of all ages.
Starting in July, the park will operate seven days a week, while in June, it will open from Thursday to Monday.
