The Manson School District has a new superintendent; she's Tabitha Mires, formerly the superintendent of the Waterville School District, and prior to that a principal, she also served in the Palisades School district. With 27 years in education, Mires says being the new person in charge can be difficult:

The long-awaited Early Learning Center has opened, with three different classroom, two morning sessions and one afternoon session, and Mires says there are openings for new students available. There is an early learning summit set for Thursday October 26th at 6 pm at the new center, it's being organized with the Lake Chelan School District, people are invited to come and discuss early learning in the valley.
