NEW BUOYS ARE A HELP

Apparently those new buoys that were installed last week in Lake Chelan are making an impact. That's what Chelan County Sheriff's Sergeant Rob Huddleston thinks:


The new buoys are further out than the old buoys were; they were moved closer to shore a few years ago, and resulted in some interactions between boaters and non-motorized lake users, paddleboarders, kayakers and the like. The city and the Sheriff's office purchased new buoys a few weeks ago.
