We told you Friday that the Manson Chamber of Commerce is receiving 68-thousand dollars from the county's lodging tax fund. At Thursday's community meeting, we heard from County Commissioner Tiffany Gering what that money will be used for:
Gering said Manson would be working with Public Works on that, because the work will be happening in a right-of-way. The chamber had submitted a three-year request, Gering called the 68-thousand dollars “the beginning,” she assumed the chamber would be coming back next year for the second phase of the project.
