Only three months after concerns about speeding traffic in Manson were brought to the Manson Community Council, something will be done about it. At the February meeting, Manson resident Pat Hautenne spoke to the council about cars and trucks speeding on Manson Boulevard, and asked for something to be done; his suggestion was a speed hump. Well, that won't happen, but Chelan County Commissioner Tiffany Gering says other solutions are being implemented; one is reducing the width of the lanes on the Boulevard:
Gering says those changes should be in place by May 18th, about twelve weeks after Hautenne spoke before the community council. Not bad; if only government could always work that fast.
