It's about a week before election day, which falls on Valentine's Day this year. Manson School Superintendent Voni Walker is hoping voters in her district will show a little love and approve the replacement EP&O levy, which stands for Educational Programs and Operations levy, it used to be called the M&O, or Maintenance and Operations levy. The two-year levy amount is 3-point-8 million dollars:
The levy accounts for 14 percent of Manson School's total budget each year.
A reminder that those ballots have to be mailed in or dropped off in a ballot box before 8 pm next Tuesday, the 14th.
