MANSON COUNCIL HEARS ABOUT BLUEWATER TERRACE

The Manson Community Council met last Tuesday, and heard updates on several proposals, perhaps the most important to Manson being the latest proposal on Bluewater Terrace. Youi'll remember the original proposal was submitted in 2022, but was withdrawn after several issues came up. Now they're trying again with a somewhat reduced plan. Brian Patterson explained to the council and the dozen or so people attending in person and online what the plan consists of:



When asked to explain why Manson residents should be interested in what happens, Patterson said the first issue was obvious – the added traffic Bluewater Terrace would create:



The City of Chelan is currently in a public comment period on Bluewater Terrace, the last proposal brought some 80 comments to the city; this public comment period goes on through November 3rd.
