LINK TRANSIT'S DECEMBER RIDER NUMBERS

It may be a little late in January to be talking about Link Transit's ridership numbers in December, but the service had a good close out to the year, with boardings up 35 percent from the same month a year prior. Link Spokesman Erik West:

As for the Route 21 between Wenatchee and Manson, West says ridership on that was fairly steady from November:



Those numbers brought Link's total for the year to a level they haven't seen in a long time:



West said the unexpected snowstorm last week and the bitterly cold temperatures caused some schedule issues for Link, along with a few incidents that bent some Link fenders, but nothing that took any buses out of service.
