We're about six weeks into the new school year, and things are going well in the Lake Chelan School District; that's the word from Superintendent Brad Wilson:
At the School Board meeting Monday, Wilson said they welcomed student representatives to sit on the board:
And the hope, Wilson says, is that those student representatives will connect with other students and get their views on what's going on in the district.
Elsewhere, Wilson says the district is getting ready for the winter, work was done on the high school roof, where they had some problems last winter. And as we've mentioned, plans are moving forward for the Educational Programs and Operations Levy coming in February.
