KUNTZ ON PORT BALLOT ISSUE

The Chelan-Douglas Regional Port Authority doesn not seem too concerned about the error on the general election ballot we told you about yesterday, that put the rate for a unified tax for the two counties at point-162 cents per thousand dollars assessed valuation rather than 16-point-two cents. Port Executive Director Jim Kuntz explains they've communicated with voters about it:



And not only that, Kuntz says they've gotten the OK from the state as to how the numbers were stated on the ballot:



So what was called a “massive error” by some may not in reality be an error at all.
