KARI'S BACK ON THE MANSON COUNCIL

Kari Sorenson is back as chairperson of the Manson Community Council.

Two months ago, she resigned from the council, saying this to KOZI:

That was the morning after a contentious council meeting where Sorenson felt she was threatened with her license to run her business, Blueberry Hills. It came during a discussion of what permit applications the council can receive from the county for review and community comment. Then specifically about approval of a distillery in a residential area. Well, that was two months ago. The council has not met since then. On Saturday's “2nd Cup of Coffee” program, I asked Kari whether she would be at Tuesday's council meeting. And she said this:

On the agenda at Tuesday's meeting, the big items will likely be a discussion of the latest proposal for Bluewater Terrace, and an update on the Chelan Butte development. That meeting is set for Tuesday, 6 pm, at the Manson Parks office on Pedoi Street.
