Authorities have released the name of the man found deceased just below the Chelan Dam on February 13. The county coroner positively identified the man as 49 year old Jay C Fawver of Chelan. According to family members, they hadn't heard from Fawver since January 18th. He had been reported as a missing person. Deputies were able to locate Fawver's body by tracking his cell phone to the last known location it was used. The Chelan County Coroner's office stated that Fawver's body was not and had not been in the river. He was recovered by Chelan Fire and Rescue on the upper river bank. The investigation into the cause of his death has been ruled suicide.
