GOEHNER ON STATE HOUSE BILLS

Over in the State House, 12th District Representative Keith Goehner is happy that a couple of his bills made it past the committee stage last week:





One bills that apparently didn't make it out of committee last Friday was House Bill 1832, which would have implemented a per-mile charge on vehicle usage of public roadways. Goehner didn't sound totally opposed to the idea, but he says the focus on transportation dollars should be elsewhere right now:





There was a public hearing on the bill last Thursday, but no action on it since, so that bill apparently has died.
