GERING GETS EARFUL FROM CONSTITUENTS

Chelan County Commissioner Tiffany Gering got an earful of complaints at last Thursday's Community Meeting. They came from Karma Vineyards Owner Julie Pittsinger and her supporters, who filled the seats at Chelan Fire and Rescue's meeting room and gave Gering the once-over about the County's insistence that Karma install a sprinkler system in their cave. At times fighting back tears, Pittsinger laid her case out:





But what irked Pittsinger and her supporters just as much was what they felt was Gering's lack of response to their plight:





In her response, Gering said she had read all the letters and emails sent to her:





With that, Pittsinger's supporters prodded Gering to commit to getting back to Pittsinger later this week with a update after speaking with the county's legal team.
