ELECTION RESULTS

It's a close race for Mayor of Chelan, results Tuesday night from the Chelan County Auditor's Office has 57 votes separating Council member Erin McCardle and Mayor Bob Goedde, with McCardle in the lead, with 52 percent to Goedde's 47 percent.


Former Chelan Fire and Rescue Chief Mark Donnell easily won election to the Chelan 7 fire Commission with 62 percent of the vote to Ben Laughlin's 37 percent.


And although she withdrew from the race and asked people not to vote for her, Mary Signorelli is still in front in the Hospital District Commission race, but she and Len England are virtually tied with almost 50 percent for each.


In the Manson School Board Position 2 race, Kourtney Alanis leads Board member Aurora Flores with 58 percent of the vote.


In the Manson Parks Commission Races, Ivan de Jesus leads David Sneesby with 62 percen tof the vote for position 2. in the position 4 race, it's Leslie Burns with 63 percent of the vote over Randall Alexander Reed; and for position 5 on the commission, it's Susie Fox with 65 percent of the vote over Rob Campbell.


In Entiat, Renee Swearingen looks to be the new mayor, with 62 percent over Michael Buck Buckingham.


In the ballot issue for a unified tax for the Chelan Douglas Regional Port Authority, that won with a combined 66 percent yes vote, although 79 percent of Chelan County voters voted yes, while 70 percent of Douglas County voters voted no.


And Wes Cornelius has a 600 vote lead over Mark C. Miller in the assessors race.


According to the Chelan County Auditors Office, voter turnout was only 27-point-3 percent, and there are 52-hundred votes left to count. The next count is coming on Thursday.


In Okanogan County, the Three Rivers Hospital bond issue for a new hospital has a 59.14 percent yes vote, it needs 60 percent to pass.


And the Methow Valley Aquatics District proposition is going down to defeat with a 70 percent no vote.
