DOWNTOWN REVITALIZATION PROJECT AGREEMENT OK'D

At its meeting last week, the Chelan City Council approved an agreement with Beckwith Consulting Group for the Chelan Downtown Revitalization Project. Chelan City Council Member Erin McArdle says the project, which has been in the works for a couple of years now, will progress in stages:





McArdle says the project is just at the beginning of taking public comment, and Chelan City Administrator Wade Farris says public comment is crucial to the development of the project:

The cost for Beckwith's services is estimated at around 121-thousand dollars, the Historic Downtown Chelan Association has adequate funds available to reimburse the city for all costs incurred in the project.
