DOT WORK NEAR OROVILLE STARTING

Starting tomorrow (Wed) the State Department of Transportation will begin a project on Highway 97 near Oroville that will require a lengthy detour. The work will be on the approach to the railroad crossing just south of Oroville at milepost 330, as well as some bridge deck repair work just north of that. Here's the DOT's Lauren Loebsack:



The work on both the highway and the bridge is expected to take about a month; Loebsack says they hope to complete it early, but expect them to be out there as late as October 5th.
