The Manson Fire Department participated in the state's “Wildfire Ready Neighbors” program; Baker said they got a handful of folks who signed up to have their properties assessed for wildfire preparedness. He adds that the department is still mapping properties in the back country, so if you live out there and see a pickup from Manson Fire, it's legit.
