CITY AUTOPAY DISCONTINUED

If you've paid your City of Chelan utility bills on line in the past and haven't read your bill lately, you've probably had a shock recently. City Finance Director Jackie Tupling says you can't pay those bills online now:



And, as we mentioned, some people got a bit of a shock:



The in-house autopay function ended on June 1st. Now if you are one of those people, Tupling says to please give them a call and check with them, because there are options available. As for a new autopay system, Tupling says there is one the city is turning to, but there's a catch:



No word on when that new system will be implemented.
