CHELAN TAX INCREMENT FINANCING BRIEFING SET FOR MARCH 21

The City of Chelan will conduct a Public Briefing regarding the proposed Tax Increment Financing program to fund infrastructure improvements for the East Chelan area. The briefing will include a description of the increment area, the public improvements proposed to be financed with the tax allocation revenues, and an estimate of tax revenues for the participating local governments and taxing districts, including the amounts allocated to the increment public

improvements.


The briefing will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 beginning at 4:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at Chelan City Hall. The public is invited to attend the meeting in person or by phone. Written comments may also be submitted to

publiccomments@cityofchelan.us with “TIF Comment” included in the subject line. Written comments must be received no later than the time of the briefing. A quorum of Councilmembers is expected to be in attendance, but no City action will be taken.
